We used them once. Normally, our animals see Dr. Malampati in Maplewood. This is very helpful.   cody Citizen Username: Cody Post Number: 470 Registered: 5-2001 Posted on Friday, February 6, 2004 - 7:02 am:        I've used them, too, and been satisfied, but I believe they asked me if the pet had been seen by my own vet within 30 days prior to taking it to them - they didn't want to be the first resort for a sick animal. (This was an animal in respiratory distress at the time) Perhaps it is different if it is a true emergency - broken bones, bleeding, that sort of thing.
