Can anyone recommend a half decent, (or fully decent). restaurant of any kind near or at the Meadowlands sports arena where my wife and I can have a drink and a meal while waiting for someone else to sit through a Devils game? Thanks muchly. |

There is a Charlie Browns about 1 mile away.
Crows Nest 5mi
Steve’s Sizzling Steaks 3 mi
Chevy’s 2.5 mi
You could aslo go right over to the track and watch the ponies for a bit.
At that time of day there will be little traffic. Garden State Plaza is about 15 min away.

If you want a real nice place South City Grille in Lodi (10 min). IMO Best Seafood in NJ.
I can give you directions to all of these places. |

The Park and Orchard is in a crazy location but it's very close to the complex and has a varied menu and beer list. |

Around the corner from Park and Orchard is one of the best mexican restaurants in NJ, Fiesta Hut in Rutherford. You'll probably need MapQuest to find it though. (They have a liquor license, but no real bar) |
