I was told this evening that my shop can not get the necessary replacement part to repair my boots.

If anybody has a pair of Nordica boots from the early 1990's, let me know. Specific models which I think will work are: 997; 982; 967; 857; 757; 717 and 617. Am willing to look at nearly any Nordica boot to see if you have the piece.

Obviously, if you're still skiing in any of the above boots, I don't want yours. But I gotta figure that there's a bunch of boots sitting in garages, attics, basements etc.

Thanks for the help,

TomR.

ffof,

I hadn't thought of that.

$10 to $20 pair of plastic plates -vs- $400 to $600 for new boots. What was I thinking when I asked if any of my neighbors had some junk in their garage?

All kidding aside, I'd rather finish the season on the same boots, and Nordica said they can't help.

Somebody??

If you can afford to ski, stop blubbering about cost of boots!!!

No one has responded - So, just demo a pair for 20 bucks, if you like them you can buy them minus the cost for the demo. You can do this at Pelican or Summit Ski and Sport or most definitely at whatever mountain you're planning to ski.
