Does anyone know what's going on with Mazar Kebab house? Their phone is now disconnected. We tried going there last night, since their posted hours for dinner include Sunday night up to 11pm, but they were closed. |

I noticed that they were closed on a Saturday night as well. Another thing I noticed is that they are no longer listed in the Dining Capsules section of the Star-Ledger. |

They closed up. Despite favorable reviews, they were unable to attract enough customers. |

Oh, the guilt! We ate there once, liked it a lot, and have been meaning to go back ever since. Now I'm sorry we didn't try harder. Hubby & I have just vowed to eat at the new Carribbean restaurant (on 1st Street, I think, in SO) again this weekend, to assuage our consciences.

I just had Caribbean Cuisine tonight - I'm addicted. I had an alou pie, couple doubles, stewed chicken with rice and beans.

That restaurant was a nice addition to our area. I am dissapointed they didnt make it. Hey, maybe Jerry C got them to move to Springfield Ave? |
