Last night, I actually saw one of the most disgusting slobs in the world in action. We went to Don Joe's on Route 10 for dinner. I should've seen what was coming when the father had to escort the two boys, about 7 & 9 to the restroom for supervision. If you've been there, you know that it is a small place, where kids that age are usually allowed to go by themselves. If the boys were rowdy, they could've been sent one at a time. But no. Instead, from my vantage point, I got to watch each one relieve himself, as Dad stood there, holding the door open. But that's not the gross part... On the way back to the table, the 7 y/o asked his father to get his wristband off; it looked like they'd been to Funplex or something. So, Dad stops at the empty table next to us, picks up a fork from the place setting (by the tines), starts to saw at the wristband with it & the kids decides he can pull it off himself. What does Dad do? He sets the fork back down in place and takes the kid back to their table. I asked the waiter to change the place setting & told the reason. When The Spouse cam back from the women's room & I told her, she said that I should've said something to him. I really wish that I'd picked up the fork, taken it to him at his table & said "excuse me, sir, you left your fork on that table". What a &_#%ing pig. And what a great lesson to teach the kids. I can't imagine what kind of things he does when he's not in public....
