http://www.maplewoodcommunitymusic.org, the group that is the community concert band and jazz band, has a site with lots of useful information for parents with kids in the music programs, or for adults who continue to play (or want to get started again.)

There's a database of local teachers, and they've just added a database of used instruments for sale. Not much there yet, but in the future it could be a great way for Sally, who wants to switch from trumpet to clarinet, and Billy, who wants to do the opposite, to get together.

They're also launching a scholarship program which will offer lessons, master classes, and extra help to the in-school programs.

A great effort, thanks to those who have been working hard to put it together.
