I'm looking for the BEST resort spas within, oh, 2 hours of NYC. Any recommendations? Thanks. |

Relatives went to the one in the Catskills. I forget the name! My dad's cousin (a young 50) and her mom (mid-70's)-- loved the food, the hiking, the classes. I recently did a search online and read all about it, but the name is escaping me right now. I bet if you look on Spafinder you'll find it. If you gave me a multiple choice I'd know it! |

If you've got the dough--Canyon Ranch is the top of the line and they've got one in the Berkshires now. The drive will be a little longer than two hours, but I can assure you that it's worth it. I have been to quite a few luxury spas around the country and it doesn't get any better than this. Hubby and I went there a couple of years ago and I STILL dream about the place. http://www.canyonranch.com/ |

I sent my girlfriend to Bliss in NYC, it was ranked number three by A&E. She thought it was the greatest place on earth. http://www.aetv.com/tv/shows/top10/031300.html |

Brett, Bliss is great, but it's a day spa. So, sadly, you can't spend the night there... |

I've never been to the spa at Hershey but have been to the hotel and it is lovely. Wonderful atmosphere and food and the prices to show for it. I also just saw a "great hotels" episode on it and they talked about a "chocolate wrap" in the spa. Looked yummy! You probably couldn't go wrong there. |
