I want to go to a nice Sunday morning breakfast/brunch with about 10 people but @ 9:00am. Most brunches don't start till later. Where would you go with a big group that early.

If you like casual and folksy I would talk to Carlos at Carmelita's and ask him if he could open early for a group of 10. Carlos is cheery and funny, the food is delicious and hearty and I look forward to shaking off our Sunday morning bleariness with him.

Huevos Rancheros, hot strong coffee and good conversation, if the temperature wasn't hovering below zero I'd swear I was in the Yucatan.

Try the Hilton in Short Hills accross from the Mall at 41 JFK Parkway. There are 2 seatings. It's a bit pricy at $45 per person, but the quality, service and ambiance cannot be beat! Also, another nice spot is The Grand Summit Hotel for brunch too. (In Summit)
I also like the Original Pancake House. There's one in West Caldwell and another at 830 RT 10 East in Whippany. Try their crepes or the HUGE incredible Apple Pancake.
