Sbenois, Maplewood's leadingest businessman and game warden, in conjunction with Dr. Stefano Robotics, is pleased to announce that Phase 1 of our Controlled Deer Hunt is now underway. Two weeks ago, two specially developed robotic doggies (programmed by the brilliant doctor himself) were released on Wyoming Avenue with instructions to cull the out of control herd. Chunky and Buster, (real names not disclosed in order to protect their identity) have so far done a magnificent job in isolating and then destroying any deer in their path. Despite the best efforts of their detractors, Chunky and Buster will not cease until every last critter is either killed or turned into another fabulous Yumster at the Cafe Sbenois. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. What a shame that it had to come to this. Had unnamed individuals ( ) gotten on board with the County's desire to do this in a merciful way, perhaps Chunky and Buster could have spent more time with their families. ---> Brought to you by Sbenois Engineering LLC <- Let's Go Royals

Citizen: Sbenois A few points in reference to the above post which you beamed down to us from your private 757 aircraft, AKA Sbenois Force One. Technically, Sbenois, you cannot be considered "Maplewood's leadingest businessman" until you joined either the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Cabinet or the South Orange Maplewood Business Incubator (of which I am the leadingst member). As for "game warden", my question is, what games do you ward over? Is it true that Sbenois Engineering is donating a large sum of money to the Maplewood Public Gymnasium, Running Track, and Activity Center that will share the Verizon site with the new Police HQ, Jail cells, shooting range, and Complex Court? Dr. Stefano Robotics, is not yet registered to ISO 9001:2000, TS-16949, or even BS-820?! Is that right? With respect to Phase 1 of the Unilateral Hunt, now underway, what type of deer qualifies as "unilateral"? Are not some bi-cameral? Please cite the technical specification to which I can refer to clarify this point. You wrote " Two weeks ago, two specially developed robotic doggies (programmed by the brilliant doctor himself) were released on Wyoming Avenue with instructions to cull the out of control herd." Is the herd out of statistical control? And if so alleged, was the process in control to plus and minus six sigma before you calculated the CPk? What CPk or PPk will constitute an acceptable level of control? It may well be that "Chunky and Buster, (real names not disclosed in order to protect their identity) have so far done a magnificent job in isolating and then destroying any deer in their path." However, why destroy the deer? I have an idea. You know those trucks that ramble into Maplewood every December, loaded with Christmas trees, Hanukah bushes, and Kwanza wreathes? OK, I say load the deer onto those carriers and ship Bambi et al up to the frozen reaches of Saskatuan and Nome where the dear creatures can frolic under the light of the midnight sun blissfully unaware of their almost demise at the hands of robotic agents 43712 and 99376 referenced above. Not that I want to be labeled a detractor per se, butt ..... can't Cafe Sbenois go with vegetarian Yumsters until a negotiated settlement can be reached? With rtespect to the "County's desire to do this in a merciful way" to which county do you refer? And if Mapleweood succeeds in seceding successfully into some surrounding sovereignty, what then? And what about tricking the deer accross county lines, so Union County (for example) can deal with the feisty critters? As far As I know, Chunky and Buster do not have families. (Unless you refer to whats his name, Rosemary, and her baby .....) Brought to you by MAYplewood CONsulting SP unlimited Let's Go (anyone but the) Royals (especially not Charles) Ed May |
