Looking for a headboard. Right now I just have a mattress and boxspring -- no frame. We have a split boxspring and the special frame which came with it broke, so I guess I'll need to buy another one at Orange Mattress and then get a headboard which will attach to that? This is all new to me. Any advice on where to order a nice headboard for not a lot of money. I'm looking for something like the following:

Check out spiegel.com, target.com and ikea.com If you are looking for that country white effect, and not a big price, all 3 have similar for less. I often try to achieve Pottery Barn effects on a beer pocketbook. These 3 sources might come through for you.

I noticed that target has something in this vein...I think spiegel does too.

Most mattress stores also sell headboards and footboards. Try Rockaway Bedding (Rt. 10, Rt. 22, and other locations) or The Bedding Shoppe on Rt. 46 in, I believe, Parsippany.

My companions and I have found, when headboard shopping, that the cost of a headboard varies in proportion to the amount of hooks it has for the handcuffs.

We just had great luck with the Bedding Shoppe on Route 46 in Parsippany. Bought a kids bed (they have adult sizes as well) similar to Pottery Barn for half the price. The service was great - not in your face, but very helpful.

I'm pretty sure they also sell headboards
