Does anybody know anything about the Hotel School at Penn State University. Is it difficult to gain admission for NJ students? |

I wouldn't think so. Penn State charged me twice as much for tuition out-of-state even though this was in the Eighties. I doubt you'll have trouble if you can provide the dough. And I doubt this institution has changed in its business approach. Good luck and enjoy the "college life." I graduated from there in 1990 as an undergrad. www.etopps.com

Fairleigh Dickinson has a school of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management - have you looked into that? |

My sister in-law graduated from the Penn State Hotel Restaurant Management School and her feeling was that that while Penn State is getting more and more competitive to get into, she feels that they are always looking for more out of state students.

Here's a link with tuition info. I had a friend in the HRIM program at Penn State and I think he'd tell you it was a good experience. http://www.tuition.psu.edu/UniversityParkRates.asp#UPNonPA |
