Is there a convenience store in South Orange/Maplewood. Where can you go for some milk and a loaf of bread at 11 pm?

I think the Walgreen's at Ivy Hill, at the SO/MPLWD/Newark border is open 24 hours.

Also, the Quick-Chek on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood is open 24 hours.

Grrrrr. This is my biggest peeve about the NJ suburbs. I grew up in Long Island, where you never had to drive more than three or four miles to reach a Dairy Barn Store, a drive-through that sells milk, juice, eggs, bread, donuts, ice cream, and almost all other perishable staples. Usually they are open from about 6 AM till about 11 PM. I emailed the company to see if they'd consider opening around here, but I never heard back.

There's a Krauser's on Valley Road (CVS shopping plaza)in West Orange. I've bought milk when desperate at late hours at Dunkin Donuts.
