We want to install some built-in shelving which will wrap around a window and include a window-seat. To accomodate the seat, we'll have to have the radiator replaced with a lower model. This is possible, right? Who would handle such a job? (I'm not going to need to take out a second mortgage for it, am I?) |

Your first step is to find the replacement unit. I suggest that you go to the metal scrap yard on Morris Ave, at Burnett and find one that will fit the new space. Then undo your old one and slide in the replacement unit. It is almost that simple, other than some grunt work and heavy lifting. Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic. |
