Guilty. And, although rather amusing at the time, it'll never happen again. |

Lend it out? Half the time I can't even remember it. Sr. Moments are such fun! |

That's one scary question. Just imagining certain MOL posters trading on line identities is enough to make me cringe.

Joan, It happens a lot. I know more MOLers that have done it than not. |

Hmmm. Never. Wouldn't do it. The only person who knows any of my names/passwords is The Spouse, for my hotmail. Although, I would let TS be me on MOL, if she wanted to. But, she shows little interest & laughs at me, which is why I can get away with half the stories I tell about her. OK - here's the real question: has anyone lent out their password/screenname to someone other than a spouse or child? |

I would never do it. I don't even share my passwords with my family. Well, I share the passwords to get on my computers but not to take my identity in email or here. And I think of passwords that are hard to remember and type. They're total gibberish combinations of letters and numbers. Tom Reingold the prissy-pants There is nothing

Lend it out or have it pried from me? I've since changed it. |

why would I lend out my screen name? too many people know who I am, so I want to be personally responsible for everything that appears next to my "byline."

I've offered to lend it to Mr. Bookgal but he is completely disinterested in MOL. I wouldn't do it for the same reasons as Ml1..even though I post under a screenname, lots of people know who I am, I've never hidden it. I regret some of my own posts only too quickly after I made them, I don't want to feel guilty about something someone else wrote under my name. |

one thing I'll never do is post my own mug under my screen name. Tom Reingold -- you're a brave man. I'm uneasy enough when a friend introduces me to someone as "ml1," so I can't imagine how creeped out I'd be if complete strangers walked up and said "hi ml1!"

This is kind of weird. Yesterday you start a thread about giving out your screename. Today you say that a nude picture was sent out from your screename and also that you were only kidding about giving out your screename. |

Marc, Yup, it's weird, and I don't like it. Someone asked me to write that last post (long story), but it's confirmed that the two incidences have nothing to do with each other. |
