My daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon at Knit and Stitch , a store located upstairs from the Maplewood cinema. We picked out yarn and between the owner and some very friendly patrons, she and I both got knitting lessons and got started on some very exciting projects! They're open Saturday, and ...?

Sounds like fun! My daughter who is away at college, says that the whole dorm is into kniting. Can't wait till she comes home so we can check out Knit and Stitch together.
