Dr. Howie Kotkin in Chatham at 973-635-6444. It's on Main Street just past the SH Mall. He's great, honest, thorough and funny.

Davia Strachan at the South Orange Dental Center 481 South Orange Avenue in S.O. 973-762-2660. She's a pediatric dentist in practice with her husband Haniel Rosemond who works on adults. Wonderful people, wonderful dentists!

Justin Fried - Maplewood Family Dental (an MOL advertiser). He is very gifted working with children. He also sees adults. He is my favorite dentist ever!! My daughter also really likes him.

I second Dr. Howie. He treated my then-1-year-old daughter after she fell and cracked her tooth in the driveway. He handled it so well that we even got a clear x-ray and could see that the root was undamaged. We all think he's great.

I second Dr. Fried. While he isn't purely a pediatric dentist our entire family likes him (this from a confirmed dentist -phobe!). I've never had to wait, he has special area for treating kids and he's very patient. My 4 year old son even said he likes going to the dentist - after he had a filling done!

Mitchell Bayroff in Summit is our pediatric dentist. Our kids are very happy with him. He's gentle and takes his time. He even has a sign in the reception area that says something like, "We run on kid time; so if you have to wait, please be assured that we will be as patient and attentive with your child as we are with others." Also, his office is opposite Salon-4-Kids, so you can do a haircut and dental appt in one trip!

My son LOVED Dr. Fried -- he introduced himself as Justin. After our visit my son loved brushing his teeth (well, he opened him mouth and let me brush his teeth). He also gives out neat goody bags.

My preschooler makes me click through on Dr. Fried's MOL ad whenever she sees it--and she regularly checks for it when I am on MOL.

Great dentist, great with kids, very family friendly office.
