I know rumors have a way of starting so I figured I'd get the "real skinny" from MOLers; has anyone heard anything about a fight that took place in CHS this week which led to a girl cutting another girl in the face with a knife? |

talk about starting rumors! If this is what you heard, I can absolutely understand why you would be concerned. But since you apparently aren't sure of the accuracy of what you heard, next time wouldn't it be more appropriate to say something in a less inflammatory manner? Example: I'm very concerned about a rumor I heard about an incident this week involving 2 CHS females in school in a troubling confrontation. Does anyone have details? |

Ditto on not hearing from our CHSer.
Over the years here there have been a lot of reports of horrible, brutal violence that turned out to be two 15 year olds getting into a fist fight.
The worst was three years ago and involved two African American gangbanging freshmen getting into a fight in the lunch room and then turning on a security guard. I was among the throngs who wanted to send them to reform school. Yep, the fight happened and a security guard slipped and was injured while attempting to break up a fight between two African American honor roll students who are friends and team mates of my son. They both were suspended and I suspect that was the least of their punnishments since I know both of their parents as well and the type of people they are.
Both have college acceptances in hand for next year.

Well Popo, this is where the question was asked, and answered. I trust that if an MOLer has a child who did hear about it, they'd chime in. If it wasn't an MOLer who was expected to answer, then this ain't the place to ask! |
