By saying "had" to leave the US, that implies you're looking for a place to hide. Prague is both beautiful and anonymous! |

ffof, You're right. Aside from a bout of food poisoning (they don't refrigerate the mayonaise) I love that place. It's how I always imagined the Shire from Lord of the rings, with mists, mountains, tiny little medieval villages - like a fairytale. Last time I was there, I ran into a girl in the middle of nowhere who turned out have graduated CHS same year as me and had been living there for years. Surreal. |

I've traveled in 41 countries now and I'd have to say, Italy. I can think of a number of towns there I'd like to live in. Tho' I speak Spanish best, I wouldn't mind learning Italian at all. |

Wales is magical. When I was 20, I wandered through the British Isles and France on my bicycle, and Wales was my favorite place. I climbed the mountains on my bike. They have some pretty good singing there, too, though I missed it at the time. That would be nice for me, as I'm an amateur singer. Oh, I did stand up and sing a couple of songs in a bar there on a college campus. The Netherlands sounds nice, though I haven't been there (as I don't think the airport counts). I like the liberal laws and people. My wife and I fantasize about living in Paris for a while after the kids are gone. Someone there even offered me a job! Mars What a place to start thing anew or as old. Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic. |
