Fred Sebastian of the Ethical Culture Society of Maplewood has asked me to post the following announcement:

MEMORIAL MEET & PROCESSION -- TO HONOR THE DEAD AND
INJURED OF WAR
SATURDAY MARCH 6, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Wear Black -- Rain or Shine
MAPLEWOOD MEMORIAL PARK
Near corner of Valley St. & Baker St.
One block east of Maplewood Train Station (through
Park).

A public showing to honor all those dead and injured
in pursuit of freedom.
By US Government Order our media are not permitted to
cover the arrival of
our war dead. They deserve more recognition than that:
Our Honor, our Headlines, Our Public Acknowledgement,
and Praise.

Take to the streets with us to shed light on the cost
of War
For all those who have paid the ultimate price.

We will gather at Veterans Plaque in Maplewood
Memorial Park at 1 PM,
followed by the short procession to Rickleton Square
on Maplewood Avenue
across from movie theater, where we will do Memorial
honors in words and
song.

This event is a non-partisan, interfaith Memorial
event put on by the Social Action Committee of Ethical
Culture Society in Maplewood. All are welcome. Signs
in
honor, and for peace are welcome, Please, No political
party signs.

Directions: Garden State Parkway to South Orange Ave
Exit 144, Take South
Orange Ave. West into South Orange center and make
left onto Valley Street,
go straight approximately 1-1/2 miles to Memorial Park
and Baker Street on
your right.
