I have a bosch (its high end) but its worth the extra.....there are a great number in the middle of the road (60's) that are good ... almost any will do a good job. I also have a Bosch, it cost about $165. It is the best, most versatile saw I have ever owned. Force Tools on Rt. 22 near R&S in Union has the very best prices on the best tools! |

Yeah Torne, but how is the energy usage? Is it energy star rated? |

Parkah .... if you want a bosch ... but want to save a few bucks on it .... go to a Sears store (Essex green, after 2 today you can ask for me) .. the Craftsman Professional is made by bosch (there is no mistaking it when you see them side by side) and its 10 or 20 bucks cheaper. But ... we have a pretty decent mix of brands and things and if your wallet stops you at 60 there are still some good ones to be had at that price ... Parkah ... you should have found me (oh wait...sunday I wasn't working) ... the bosch we had was seriously discounted as it was a last one (presuming new model on the way in) .. If you can get by Sat or Sun breifly ... ask for me (or Giles or Jason) and (if not me) tell them you want the craftsman professional that looks like the bosch... (They'll know which one) Richard (ROC) --Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the Titanic.-- --AIM: ROConn |
