Why do we have two libraries across the street from each other anyway? According to other posts here, the kids all use the Memorial Library anyway. Transfer the assets, and divide the old school library into classrooms or whatever we need there. Its two stories, all open... its an old gym... bet they can fit six classrooms in there. Use the expense of librarians, etc to pay for the bond for the addition the Memorial Library could have (into that parking lot, or wherever, I'm no architect...)... Solves the "MMS kids at Library all the time" problem because they'd all be in the "teen section" we'd build. Builds classrooms. After bond is paid, saves money.
Heck, the school board already shirks responsibility for maintaining a place for outdoor gym use to Memorial Park (which MMS gym teachers use all the time).

maybe I did just propose this to stir things up...
