I apologize for posting twice, I'm wondering if this type of seminar can be benificial to our community.

Tonight at South Orange Middle School:
The Center For Civic Responsibility is offering a workshop on legal rights and citizen participation with the power centers of local government. This seminar is geared towards people of all ages and provides a copy of Empowerment Civics, a resource book of Legal Rights and Political Skills.

[please forward to any interested friends, family...]

A seminar on citizens' legal rights and participation in local government sounds very interesting, and I would like to attend. But the timing is very bad: tonight at 7:30pm.the Village Charter Committee holds a public meeting on proposed revisions on South Orange's Charter. I imagine that the first thing your seminar would teach us is that we should be in that public meeting when the governance of the town is discussed and possibly revised.

I hope that many of us will attend the Charter Committee's meeting. Can you, please, re-schedule the seminar for another date?

Eric
