Winona, Minnesota, along the banks of the Mississippi River, about 1100 miles from here. My parents still live in the house where I grew up, which we moved into the summer before I started kindergarten.

In settling there, by the way, my parents ended up about 250 miles from their hometown in central Iowa.

Born: Southampton, England
3437 miles Northeast (52.3 degrees)

The site I just used also told me:
Maplewood, New Jersey, US

County: Essex County
Location: 40:43:59N 74:16:19W
Population (1990): 21756
Elevation: 136 feet

http://www.indo.com/cgi-bin/dist

Silly fact:
My first summer intern job was with on the Southampton waterside. At lunch we'd sit and watch the QEII come and go. My first real job was at Harborside, NJ. At lunch we'd sit and watch the QEII come and go. Then I got a job in Bermuda for two years. At breakfast on my deck, I'd watch the QEII come and go.

Never been on it.

Wonder when it's coming to Maplewood!!!

There are thousands of "Browns" still there and we are related to almost all of them!!
