In this transparent organization, we use a sense of urgency to set measurable, attainable action items. Communication is key; while there is an open-door policy at all times, ask yourself whether you are accountable for your own actions and whether you are taking initiative and setting objectives that will move the business forward.

I have taken the liberty of putting the key phrases into one paragraph, but, otherwise, I am not making this stuff up.

I have to tell you - a regular poster on this board, who works in the same company as do I, wrote one of the funniest spoofs I have ever read. He sent it to me & I was crying as I read it.

I would share, but you have to work here and understand our industry. Besides, I never "out" anyone. Our company is too small to mention by name without blowing our covers!

There's nothing quite like a generous helping of corporate lingo when someone who has nothing to say needs to talk for a few minutes.

Pardon me, I've got to, uh, go leverage some team-building tools to incentivize my colleagues to frame some key objectives as we transition into a new paradigm.

(Oh PUKE!)
