We are looking for a good (reliable, efficient, time-tested) cleaning person to come and clean our house on weekends.
* Could you please give me some recommendations for South Orange?
* What is the price range per visit?

We like Nilsa and Christina Gonzalaz. Mother/daughter (and sometimes other daughters and even husband) do our Millburn home. 3 bdrm 1.5 bath and finished basement for $80 every other week. Takes them about 3 hours. Got their names from MOL! |

I pay $100 every week for my whole house cleaned and all the laundry done, folded, put away. I used to pay $90/week but gave her a raise because it's a lot of work. She works from about 7:45 to 3:45. I am going to attempt to do a few loads myself because I think the laundry overwhelms her. |

I pay $70 every other week for cleaning a three bedroom 2.5 bath house. I don't ask her to do laundry or bed-making, and there are only two adults living here. If she is asked to do anything extra, like cleaning the 3rd floor bedrooms and bath, which are never used, we pay her extra. I also give her two weeks paid vacation. |

we pay $70/week to clean our first and 2nd floors, $80 to clean all four floors, We use Grace's cleaning service, they are excellent. Our cleaning woman still chooses to clean our kitchen floor on her knees, wipes down every knick knack, etc. 973 335 2111
Sometimes there is a bit of communication problems being that they are all Polish but they are all experienced so it's rarely a problem |

I live in Maplewood & use Elvira Cleaning Service 973-912-0061. Her employee, Sandra, comes every other week. Costs $85 for 8 rooms (including changing bedding), 1.5 bths & stairs to basement. Have yet to request for other services. Does a super job! |

I use Gerry's House cleaning. They clean and change bed linen. THey charge $70 for a four bedroom three bath house. They are good AND based in South Orange. I think Gerry lives here. If there were any problems, she comes right over and fixes for free, etc. Nice to work and and totally reliable. |

We also use Gerri's Cleaning Service and highly recommend them. Their number is 973-763-6158. They send a crew to the house and spend a lot of time cleaning it. The fee is based on the size of your house and is very reasonable. |

We tried three different women. We didn't like the first two. The first was too slow and expensive, and the second wasn't thorough enough.
We just found Carla. She comes back for her second time today. If, today, she does the same fantastic job she did two weeks ago, we'll be extremely happy. We already are extremely happy.
