A lot happening in our community March 19-21-here are a couple of things worth checking out:

Friday night March 19:Black Maria Film Festival at 1978 Springfield Ave in Maplewood starting at 8:00. Always worth checking out this nationally renowned festival.

Saturday Morning March 20: ArtsMaplewood's Music for Kids presents "Classics for Kids" with the Essex County Youth Symphony at the Burgdorff Cultural Center 10 Durand Road Maplewood at 9:30 and 11:00. Another program in the popular series for kids of all ages.

Saturday night March 20:ArtsMaplewood's Onstage series presents "Brazilian Duos" featuring Grammy nominee vocalist Luciana Souza, at the Burgdorff Cultural Center. Music starts at 8:00.

Sunday Afternoon March 21:Instrument Music day. A day-long event to raise money for instrumental music lesson scholarships for our local youth. Taking place at the Woman's Club of Maplewood, featuring fun activities for children to introduce them to instrumental music, as well as performances by many groups from our community. The fun starts at 1:00 and stretches into the evening

Change of venue notice- The Black Maria Film Festival will now be held at the Hilton Branch of the Maplewood Library on Friday Night March 19 at 8:00 PM Call 973-763-6052 for information.
