They'll come out and give you an estimate, and if you like the price, they'll do the work then on the spot. (You can also negotiate a little.) He was quick and cheap and easy to deal with. Saw the construction stuff we had and came back later that afternoon with a truck and a saw to cut the stuff down to size.
