Okay, I don't want to put this in the education thread because it has nothing to do with the MSO school district (and I think that this thread gets more traffic). I will be starting grad school this fall. Yippee, very exciting, but very expensive. Especially since I'm going to be attending Xavier University, which is a private school. Does any one have any leads about any scholarships or grants for which I might be eligible? My company is being purchased by another bank, so I don't want to count on tuition reimbursement since I might not even have a job by the time classes start. Here are some facts that hopefully will help: *I'm getting my masters in human resource development *I'm Jewish and female *My grandfather was a Mason (but he died in 1967, so I might be grasping at straws there) So, any ideas? |

Hi Bella, Try www.fastweb.com. I found out about them from my school's financial aid office. They have a pretty extensive questionnaire and email you scholarships that match your criteria. What will you be studying? Best of luck. |

Bella: Professional associations such as the International Personnel Management Association (IPMA) have student chapters which may be a good source of information on scholarships, grants, internships and the like. Check with your college to learn if any of these groups have a chapter on your campus. The website for IPMA is www.ipmaac.org. I don't know if you have to be a member to access the site. They should have some relative information posted. Good luck. |
