Interested mostly in nearby daycamp options with transportation (like Oak Knoll). We've done the Y for years and she is, understandably, a bit weary of it. She is now old enough to be on her own a bit, since I know many of the alternatives bring the kids home in the late afternoon. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Oak Knoll does has not provided transportation in the past. Are they now doing so? Are you looking for a place with its own facility that is strictly in the business of being a day camp (a la Riverbend, Willow Lake, Jeff Lake) or one of the school-cum-camps like Oak Knoll, Kent Place, etc? Big price difference. |

When our daughter went to Oak Knoll about 5 years ago, they did offer transportation. Not any more? Budget is definitely a big factor!!! |

last year oak knoll did not offer transportation although previously they had. They were having difficulties with the bus companies and there were many complaints. This year they have reinstated transportation and are using there own vans and drivers. |
