Has anyone used F.G.B. for anything? I see their ads in the local papers and according to their listing, they do almost everything we need to have done around the house. Thank you in advance.

I would NOT use them.

They botched a job I had them do at my previous house and had to pay someone else to fix their mistakes.

Yes, we used them to clean our windows. They did a terrible job, windows were cleaner before they went to "work". They stained a carpet. Not to mention that the crew looked like they were extras on break from the Sopranos.

YIKES! It's too bad that no one was happy with their work. Is there another company or handyman you'd suggest to do deck staining, re-screen a wood porch, etc?

Two Guys From Newstead. Do a search from the top of this page for "handyman" and you can read some positive comments. I've recently used them - they are great. Reasonable prices and quality work.
