April 13th at 7:30pm
$6. Tues., Apr. 13, South Orange Middle School Little Theater, 7:30-9:00 P.M.

August 7, 2003, kicked off the celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the birth
of a great American and a great international civil servant, Dr. Ralph Johnson
Bunche. A scholar, educator, civil rights advocate, and world statesman, Bunche received international recognition as the first person of color to receive the
Nobel Peace Prize.

DR. BENJAMIN RIVLIN, Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Director Emeritus
of the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies at the CUNY Graduate
Center, and a former associate of Dr. Bunche, will discuss Bunche’s
contributions in domestic and international affairs and share with us his
intellectual brilliance, rigorous scholarship, and acute sensitivity to human
relationships. Read more about Ralph Bunche at http://www.ralphbunchecentenary.org
