America's Best Window Cleaners ... they did my whole house (38 windows) in the neighborhood of 150 ... in and out ... 6 over 1 double hungs, plus the storms, both sides.

There is another thread here about this in recent days.

I just had them come out and clean 40 windows at $5.95 per window... Richard is a long standing customer and he has a grandfathered price. They charge an extra dollar per screen and they offered to clean the window sills for an additional $2 per window... I wouldn't do the last bit.

I was pleased overall, except that they did not have a tall enough ladder to effectively clean some of the windows on the third floor. Still, a huge improvement and definitely worth the cost. Took them about 3 hours.

Their number is (973) 535 5874

I too recommend America's Best Window Cleaners. We use them faithfully every year for almost 4 years now. Great prices, great service.

Got to love em ... got my spring reminder yesterday ... now I just have to figure out where the money's coming from. (I hate not being really employed ...)

Should we start a thread on how replacement windows are much easier to clean?

But they're so expensive!

Not if you get the really cheap ones with no divided light. Go for the vinyl ones that you can spot from a mile away.
