Today the spouse and I celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary! I've said it, but I find it hard to believe myself. We still have so much to talk about and learn about one another!
It's a little sad the way the world works today that such a long marriage appears to call for an apology! Were we so dull or dumb or cowardly that we didn't seek other possibilities ten, twenty or thirty years ago?
Life has been an adventure with many, many ups and downs. We chose to take it on together.

So, what's your secret? I always think it's ability to communicate (even if that includes yelling  )and making each other laugh. I guess liking your spouse's butt or eyes or both or whatever can't hurt either.
