Got Cablevision? Gotta signal? Got 80 channels?
Gotta cable modem? Got apoplexy? Local # (touted in latest Gaslight) -- 973-230-1079 -- has been disconnected. Calling Customer Svc @ 800-333-4867 is a waste of time.

Looks like it's back to rabbit ears TV for "West Wing" tonite, or maybe I'll (gasp) read a book.

Plenty of books available at the Library, Soda. Easier to use than that old tv and rarely suffer from outages. (of course , SOPL is closed right now). Oh well, read MOL

Outages will happen from time to time. And I actually enjoyed the silence, which I can't seem to find anywhere these days, even in church.

I am still without cable and cable modem. I don't mind being without TV, but my cable modem, now THAT'S a big problem

Dish TV! Dish TV! I'm so glad to be free of Cablevision. Now if I could just get the Dish TV folks to stop leaving me messages offering to install a system in my house (I've had the system for over 6 months), I'd be doing great.

Well..according to Cablevision the outage fried our cable boxes and since they can't be re-set, the cable modem can't be re-set either, so a service tech will be out on Monday..So no TV and no Computer from Weds-Monday. Did I mention that I hate Cablevision?

I don't miss TV at all. But I have a teen in the house who is not a reader. I'm going to the bookstore after work since I now have a good excuse for buying more books.

South Orange is lucky to even have cable... it had to be he LAST town to get it. Atleast you've always had Cryan's.
