As of January 4th, I have nearly 20 boxes in my basement filled with the latest in new fiction and non-fiction. Since none of the local libraries will take them, anyone wishing to have them is welcome to call 973/763-6392, make an appointment, and take as many as you wish. |

Have you tried Columbia? Wouldn't some be appropriate for the high school library? |

The last time we had a load of books we no longer wanted, we donated them to the local VA Hospital. The patients there were really appreciative. Many other hospitals in the area maintain patient libraries and most are in need of fresh material. You might also consider leaving some of the books at the book exchange in the train station. Judging from the way in which the book supply there is vanishing, I would think that the books would be gone in no time. |
