So, as I understand it, United Trust Bank has changed Maplewood Visa to Elan and we must stop using the Maplewood Visa. All balances and dreammiles move over to the Elan Visa. I called United Trust Bank, as well as Elan customer services, to inquire whether the small percentage of purchases which went to the town would now cease with the new card. Also asked if miles can be redeemed for merchandise instead of travel, as under the previous Dreammiles program with the Maplewood Visa. Both said they did not know and that I would have to call again the end of the month after the actual conversion is completed.
Anyone have any other information or comments? |

That's right -- the old MWood Visa cards no longer work, I just learned. New cards from Elan (ooh-la-la) are on the way... (No info on the Dreammiles issue; I'd tried to inquire about using these last month, and finally gave up in despair. No one could answer my questions.) |
