The bank I work at was robbed yesterday. I was sitting directly across form the teller when it happened & was the one to hit the alarm. All I could focus on was the large chef's knife the robber was holding as if he was Norman Bates. I thought I handled it okay but when the detective asked my age it took me a good 30-45 seconds to remember (maybe I just want to forget how old I'm getting). Ahhh, Cincinnati, the bank robbery capital of America.

*What do you suppose the robber intended to do with that knife?
*Was the robber apprehended?
*What happened from the time you set off the alarm?

Bella:

You are not alone. The bank where my friend's daughter works was robbed twice in as many months.

Was anyone hurt?
How did you feel about going back to work the following day?
Are you holding up okay?

Well the robber was in & out in 15 seconds or less and no one was hurt.

I'm not sure what the guy planned on doing with the knife but he seemed a little off kilter (as compared to the average thief).

After I hit my alarm I had to confirm with my security department that it was a real alarm, while I was doing that the teller was calling police dispatch (it's quicker for us to do that than calling 911, which goes to a centralized location rather than the closest department.) Meanwhile the branch manager was locking up the branch. Then we had two police departments (a neighboring town's black & white was closer to us than our sherrifs), the FBI, & internal security converge on us.

We're all doing okay, the police have a suspect we just need to pick him out of a line up.

I am okay, but that night every time I heard a noise the covers went over my head. Tomorrow the bank is sending in a counselor to make sure that we are okay.
