We are buying a house on Golf Course Island. We have two sons, a 2 year old and a 5 year old. What's it like to live there? Is it a friendly neighborhood? Are there lots of kids? What's best, what's worst about living there? Looking forward to any comments. |

Welcome to the neighborhood! We've lived on Burnet Street for 13 years and have loved it. Lots of kids of all ages, when it gets warmer you'll run into all sorts of folks. The Block party in June is always a blast, everyone comes out. It's a great neighborhood to walk/bike around, especially with the kids. Being close to the village is always wonderful, especially when getting ice cream with the kids on a warm night! The Country Club is beautiful, if not always a great neighbor. Just watch the traffic before and after school-some folks are in a great rush! Ben Williams |

I live on Salter and my sister lives on Burnett. We love it. Did you buy the O'Neill house? |

I thought the O'Neills grew up on Ridgewood by the village? |
