I just posted this notice in the "Please Help" section, but thought I would put it here as well.
The South Orange Rotary Club is looking for some volunteer assistance for the annual 5-K race on Saturday, April 19. This annual event runs through the heart of South Orange; it attracts over 300 runners and our club could use some help on race day.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with registration, hand out water and snacks, and direct runners through the course. The race begins early, and volunteers are generally through with their responsibilities by about 9:30. It is a chance to spend a Saturday morning outside in the sunshine at a popular and fun event. In addition to the club's gratitude, volunteers also receive a race t-shirt.
