Nohero -- That verse has always bugged me. It was early evening when MLK was shot, not early morning. In Ireland it was late at night. I don't know why they got it so wrong (or why nobody mentioned it to them). |

I'm not so sure. It isn't the only time the members of U2 have demonstrated a lack of familiarity with American history or American music. There's a scene in Rattle & Hum in which they introduce B.B. King and make it sound like they just discovered him and wanted the world to hear this great new artist. |
