I have to admit that a thread on this board has finally had a major impact on my life. I now vow to make a change for the better.
This morning, I was rummaging for the matching loafer in the bottom of the closet & it made me think of the Wed. poll thread question re: shoes.
I lied. It was not intentional, but I realized that when I stated that I wore all my shoes, I was wrong. There are several pairs I regularly by-pass & have not worn in months. I was a little embarrassed & humbled by those who posted the number owned/worn ratio.
My vow to change is this: this weekend, I will once again purge my shoe collection. Thank you, MOL, for making me face this issue & inspiring me to take action.  |
