I recently purchased a 1/2 sheet cake at the Shop Rite in Livingston for my daughter's birthday party. It was beautifully decorated, tasty, and cost about the same as a 1/4 sheet cake at Jacqui's and DiPaulo's - who btw, also create beautiful, tasty cakes and pastries.

Try Kurt and Kevin at Le Jardin (on Springfield Avenue). They bake mostly for local restaurants and the like (no walk in trade) but they will take special orders.

CostCo is best place for a sheet cake... Their icing is delicious...not to mention less than most bakeries will charge you...

The Jewish Bakery in the Millburn Mall makes great sheetcakes and can put almost any design you want on top. We've used them for two years for our kid's cakes and they are delicious and reasonable. To the right of Drug Fair.

I second the Millburn Mall bakery! I've only done cupcakes, but they were cheap and good!

The place in the Millburn Mall is called Sonny's and it's to the right of Tabachnik's and Drug Fair. They have delicious cakes and if you bring a picture of what you want or for example the plates that you're using with a character on them they will copy it beautifully. Plus they work on very short notice!
