It's Secretary's, Assistant, Whatever you call him/her Day. Don't forget! There's nothing worse than the evil eye you get when yours is the only one without a huge flower arrangement or wrapped present sitting on their desk. Not that I have ever experienced this in person.. My first secretary many moons ago trained me well... |

Thanks Greene. I have been a secretary to the same man for almost 10 years! He used to remember "Secretary's Day" and take me out to a fancy lunch. He hasn't remembered in years. Then again, I approve my own expense reports and sign my own reimbursement checks . |

Alg- I hope you are very good to yourself! A few years back, the VP of our department didn't get his assistant anything. There were 4 of us who were managers that relied on her heavily, even tho we had our own assistants. We chipped in and got her a huge basket from The Body Shop. She left it on her desk for 3 days. He turned bright red & started stuttering every time he saw it. |

dont forget that Wednesday is also Shakespeare's Birthday. Combine the two and write your assistant/secretary a sonnet! |
