Would appreciate a recommendation for a shop nearby that can do good work on my Saab that got hit in a parking lot today. Need someone who is good, but isn't going to take advantage. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

You can try Brad at Dobbs Auto Body (corner of Main St and Morris Ave in Springfield). He has done work on my car several times, including one major accident.

Also, I had a nice chat with the people at Young's, on Newark Way in Maplewood. They seemed a little pricey, but the owner seemed very friendly. I cannot vouch for the quality of their work.

My recommendation is Fine Finishes on Scotland Road in Orange. Just had my daughter's car fixed (beautifully, I might add) after an accident. Of course, this was covered by insurance less the $500.00 deductible, so I can't speak to their prices. However, a good friend of mine took her car there when it was time to turn it in at the end of the lease and she was also very pleased with them.

Modern Auto Body on Valley St. in South Orange. They're great. Ask for Adam. The big difference in some estimates is the quality of the paint, and it makes a big difference after a few months.

Youngs.
They are the best.
They did an amazing job on my subaru - couldn't tell it had been in an accident!
They were on the level and did what they said.
However - they are really busy - or at least when I was there in Jan. They don't advertise - it's all word of mounth.

Youngs did a great job on my car but are clearly overwhelmed by the amount of work they have right now. It took much longer than I expected.
