Has anyone else noticed a strong gas odor at the western edge of the platform at the Maplewood train station? Is this something we should be worried about? We called PSE&G about it but it does not appear that anything has been done.

I've been smelling gas in that general area since the early 1980s! I can remember a few times when the part of the street by the railroad trestle at Baker was dug up. Also the area by the fence at the end of the street that the train station is on. Never seemed to cure the problem permanently. In the past, I've reported it to PSE&G as a possible gas leak.
