After we closed on our house in Maplewood eight years ago, the first thing we did (before we even went to the house) was go to the municipal building and (1) register to vote and (2) join the pool. Call the town clerk and ask if this is still the best way to do it: Telephone 973-762-8120 |

Thanks, ReallyTrying. FYI for anyone else interested - I called and found out that you can register at the Clerk's Office at Town Hall. They're open M-Fri 9am - 4:30pm, with extended hours until 8pm the first and third Tuesday every month. |

Actually, the easiest way to do it is to download the forms (in PDF format) and send them in. I just did this a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember the website offhand but you should be able to find it via a search engine. |

Go to http://www.lwvnj.org/register.html. You can either print an app. and mail it in, or fill it out online, after which it's mailed to you to sign and return. |
