I am going to a Yankee game this weekend and am going back and forth on whether to bring my almost-9-month old son. Does anybody know if I will need a separate ticket for him? (He won't need his own seat). I can't find this information on the Yankee website. Thanks! |

You do not need a seperate ticket, epecially since you’ll probably be gone by the second inning. Wee ones don’t do well at ball games. We found the noise and atmosphere not at all baby friendly. |

I was in St. Louis last year and went to a Cardinals game (in fact that's why we went, to see Tino). We were seated next to a couple who had a baby with them, around 9 months old as I recall. He did just fine. It depends on the child. I doubt you need a ticket for him but why not call the box office just to make sure? |

I took my 10 month old to spring training and he liked it. He got his picture taken sitting on Tommy Lasorta's lap. As long as you are on the aisle and protected by net (I worry about babies getting bonked on the head by foul balls) you should be fine. When he was two we took him up to see the Mets play the Expos and he had a ball running around and around (and around) the stadium. |

Olympic Stadium was cool too. We took the "sky ride" to the top. A live band played in the hallway before the game, the stadium was pretty empty so we got great seats, a Met assistant coach gave my son a game ball, lots of good beer and video games. Montreal is such a fun town and so close. It was great with a kid still in a stroller except there were TONS of moths?? |

Hey, if he's growing up a Mets fan, he might as well start drinking now....
