Friendly fixed male tiger cat with four white paws, white chest and white belly has disappeared from his home on Prospect Place in South Orange. He is greatly missed. Last seen wearing red reflective color with tinkle bell on 5/27/03. Reward! bjellis@igc.org

I hope you find your kitty. Do you have a photo you can post here? It might help.

Here are two really good articles about finding lost cats. Our indoor cat got out recently and went into "safe mode." He was completely panicked and vomiting and terrified of us, and it was heartbreaking that he would not come to us. He finally crawled into a very small spot and I was able to get him - but if I hadn't seen him crawl in there who knows when we would have found him. Good luck, I hope these articles help.

Same thing happened to our indoor cat recently. Couldn't figure out why he wouldn't come home, even though he plainly could hear and see me from the far side of the fence (which he could climb, but not me!). Now I understand. (The next morning he finally came when I called.)

Still missing that cat! It seems he has not been hit, which is good. Tiger cat, white feet, neutered male, lost somewhere near Prospect Place and Academy. REWARD!!!!!

There are usually lost AND found cat signs around maplewood village.. on the post office bulletin board, and on the bulletin boards 1: near the parking lot by village coffee co, and 2: near the underpass in the back of arturo's. good luck, i hope everything works out

Also, do you have an underneath to your porch? Sometimes cats hang out there.. especially in the rain. Sometimes I thought a cat was missing, but it was tucked under something somewhere, or in a closet, or under pillows, hiding, because it was very sick. If it's near you, find your cat, and heal it. I hope nothing is wrong (besides the obvious of missing it) and that it returns to you as soon as felinely possible!!!
