Help! Our friend/neighbor's kid is graduating from 8th grade. I'm thinking gift certificate to a music/video store. Three questions:

1. Is $25 OK? (I have no idea what the going rate is when you you know & like the parents pretty well but aren't 'best friends').
2. Can anyone recommend a particular store that has a good selection for this age?
3. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Is it a girl or boy?

If it's a girl, email the ShamelessAngels! We've got a few things that would work for a teen in the $25 range.

Either way, I think $25 is a thoughtful gift. (Unless they're having a big catered party.) Borders or Amazon might be good choices because you can get books or music/videos.

Good point, SHH. They are having a party, but we can't be there. I'm going to take the gift over separately.

It is a girl, but I happen to know that she just got some Shamelss Angel stuff.

My mother-in-law and I are THE ShamelessAngels. We sell high-quality designer (look-alike) bags and accessories—not what you find on the street in NYC. We do parties throughout the NY-NJ-LI area.

Greenetree is a very good customer. (I hope you don't mind me saying so!)

Yes! Teens (and parents of them) love our stuff because it's reasonable and looks/feels just like the high-end stuff for affordable prices. Privateline me or email me at beSHAMELESS@hotmail.com and I can give you more info.
