Well, I broke the keyboard to my imac this morning. It's history, for sure. Does anyone out there have an imac keyboard that you would like to sell? Is there another, compatible type? I am hoping not to get too involved with the Apple Store at Short Hills (so, so expensive...). Thanks for any advice or leads! Marcia |

Let it dry out, perhaps it'll come back to life. That happens sometimes. If you are in need of a new one, I'd check eBay. I don't have one though, I'm sorry |

Try CompUsa or Ebay. Keyboards are relatively inexpensive. Unless the coffee was extremely hot, you may be able to revive the keyboard but it takes a little work. You'd need a can of that keyboard cleaning spray. Open the keyboard and spray the devil out of it. Often the sugar in coffee will leave the thing too sticky. Truthfully though, it's usually not worth the effort to fix since keyboards are cheap. Good luck. Here's a current link to Ebay. There are others for sale too: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2732405947&category=25444 |

Try a hair dryer on medium; it's started my cold snowblower, wet GFI, and fixed my coffee maker when I dunked it in the sink. |
